Who we are and what we do: |
|
Computer Waste Depot Inc. is located in Waterloo, Ontario Canada.
We collect for recycling, unwanted, obsolete and Non-working electronics (E-Waste or Electronic Waste) from homes and businesses across Ontario. and we do it, for FREE. (as long as your materials meet our list of applicable items to the left of your screen).
The collected materials are transported to our preffered ISO 14001 Consolidators and Primary Processors based in Southwestern Ontario.
This process involves shredding or granulating whole electronics so that it can be mechanically sorted, under strict industry standards. Regulations are in place to ensure toxic chemicals and un-useable byproducts are handled and disposed of responsibly.
In developing countries, this entire process is done manually, by workers who are exposed to hazardous working conditions, for pennies per day.
Canada has a unique opportunity to showcase it’s environmentally friendly landfill diversion processes to developing Countries in order to educate future generations on safe methods of processing electronic waste materials.
Your growing landfill diversion programs ensure a bright future for the electronic waste recycling industry in Canada.
